Brooklyn artist Hannah Lawson is collaborating with her colleague Sheila Tilmouth in an exciting new venture. They are taking a stall in the Art Marquee at Birdfair 2011, the British Birdwatching Fair taking place at Egleton Nature Reserve, Rutland in August.

The bird art of Sheila Tilmouth and Hannah Lawson reflects the contrasting habitats found at latitudes 54° North and 54° South of the equator. Sheila Tilmouth depicts the abundance of birds that visit her exposed moorland garden on the edge of the Pennines whilst Hannah illustrates albatross, penguins and petrels found around the glacier clad sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia.
